lowering the car... any advises?
I'm thinking of lowering the car just by buying springs. I'm thinking of getting Elibach springs. I got 3 questions.
1. Should I get sports or pro?
2. Also how much can I lower the car(my mechanic told me if I lower it too much, front tires will hit fender or inside of the fenders)?
3. Would elibach springs fit on my stock shock?

Sure.
1. They don't make a Sportline spring for the A4. Consider the Eibach Pro-Kit, Vogtland Sport, or H&R Sport. Search the archives for various reviews.
2. You don't have much choice with those three springs, they're all about 1.5". If you want to go lower, you need heigh adjustable coilovers, or grooved Bilstein shocks.
3. Yes. Eibach, Neuspeed, Vogtland, H&R all are designed to fit onto stock shocks. I wouldn't recommend USING the stock shocks with any of those springs. The ride won't be very good, and you'll end up paying for a second installation when you decide to change the shocks later.

I'm no expert, but...
...when I asked a similar question shortly after joining these boards the resounding advice was DON'T DO IT!!
The aftermarket lowering springs will severely shorten the life of your stock shocks and the ride quality will be poor at best. If you're going to do it no matter what, try to find a little extra money and get some aftermarket shocks as well. Then you won't have to replace them in 10,000 miles ... and you won't be paying for the labor twice.
