lowering car and control arms

so at what milage do you see the arms fail on a 1.8t B5?....
you can't really judge them as a group because of weight differences. also my arms passed inspection well after they got noisy. first set went 62K with stock suspension and were covered under the first recall (98?). the second set went 88K with stock suspension. the third set uppers started failing inspection with less than 30K with modded suspention.
