Have to get a silicon hose to make an intake.

Stock maf housing is 2.5" OD.

so if my intake's inlet is 3", i need a 2.5" to 3" silicon hose, am i right?

Default or jsut a hose with a 2.5" ID to use as a couple
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/4477/mvc-208f.jpg"></center><p>depends if you want to put the cone near the MAF or not. I didn't find enough room to get the cone away from the MAF with a reducer as you mention. I had to cute my inlet hose a little to make room for my cone.

Default Yup coupler. And we also cut down the k&n filter so it would slip on the maf.
Tight space over there.

FYI, when reinstalling the MAF, but sure to put the clamp on the accordian hose to maf connection...
