Default MAF? O2 sensor? Both?

so im getting all these misfire codes and the car is running like crap. (99 30v 115k mi) i can get more of the vag data if needed but i figured id keep this relatively short

so i hook up the VAG and start poking around

at idle the maf is reading around 9-10 g/s when it should be between like 2-5 (block 002)

also at idle the bank 2 sensor 1 reads 100 in block 030 and pretty much 0 volts in block 031.

from this it seems that the MAF and one of the O2 sensors is bad. is it possible that one could be causing the other to appear like its bad? or am i gonna have to replace both?

Default how much of a PITA is getting the o2 sensors out on a 2.8?

its probably a good idea to replace both pre-cat sensors the other one cant be too far behind.

how much crap do i have to take off to get at them?

Default If you do it from underneath, its not so bad. From the top, i think i had to remove the

air intake stuff get an extension for the socket and a breakerbar to get some leverage. It was easier than I anticipated.

Default Replaced the MAF, and both pre cat Oxygen sensors. Problem solved

had to get at the oxygen sensors from under the car, kind of a pain but not as bad as i thought
