Default MAF sensor and MAF sensor housing question
Does anyone know if a MAF sensor from a '99 can fit into the MAF housing of a '97 if the two were swapped out?

Same two torx screws right? Pics anyone?

yes. The 99 is a newer sensor, but it fits in the 97 housing
