Harbor Freight: Brake Caliper Tool and Brake Bleeder

ECS: OEM plain rear rotors, fuel filter, left side door moulding, Redline MT-90 Tranny Fluid

CAP: Valvoline SynPower Brake Fluid

Porterfield: R4-S Pads front and back

Hopefully it all comes in for saturday when we do mnemonic's timing belt.

Default I thought you need the triple square for the Tranny change....

you need one for the Fuel Filter too?

stupid tools. Is it VAG#3357...I'm going to order one of those today.

Default 3357 not needed for fuel filter, just tranny drain

Make sure to check on your car too, as some trannies just have a regular 7mm hex in there.

Default Much easier to just cut the plastic band that holds the filter in.

It will drop down quite easily, then you just zip tie the new one back in it's home when you're done. Much easier for the next time too.

Default Yeah, dare I say this...

...but a Torx will work in this case. Mine wasn't very tight <b>at all</b> (it is threaded into plastic IIRC)....thus no chance of stripping the head using the wrong tool :-)
