Default I looked in my manual to find the fuse that goes to the parking lights...

I then probed that fuse to verify it did indeed have power only when the lights were on. Then I removed the fuse and probed again. The side of the fuse that no longer has power is the "protected (fused) side". It is to this side you want to connect to. Then I removed the back of the fuse box (remove knee bolster first, duh). I located the wire that went to that connection that I needed - I reprobed again to verify and then I spliced in to that wire.

If you have a separate fuse for your boost gauge, you can tap to the unprotected side of that fuse, so that you don't add any current to the fuse that's already there - however I've had no issues with the small addition of current that the boost gauge light (EL in my case) draws.

Lemme know if you need more info - sorry, the only pics I have are on my site and I don't think they show this connection. Click on my sig pic to get to my site

Default make sure you wire it to include the fuse in the loop instead of before it.

i forget which way the current is going. pull the fuse, touch a voltmeter to both the one that is still ground is after the fuse. connect to that one.
