Default Hubcentric rings go over the axial - The wheel has a milled out area that the plastic rings are

incerted into. They look like 0 rings or big washers. They are used for centering the wheel and are needed when the wheel is designed for use by multiple cars. The audi wheels are machined with the correct centering dimensions - where as the hub rings fit into the machined slot - the outside of it fit the machined part and the inside is shaped to the particular car.

Default You can get vibration - It will be like an out of round tire.

Obviously the tires will wear more too.

If the wheel is centered well when you put it on - you may not have any problems.

It's so easy to get the rings and use them - why not?

I have them on my 17" MAS Presidents.
