and you'll have 2L. There is very minimal extra machine work to make it fit as well. Pistons will cost the same, and you use the same rods.

also arent the rods a weakpoint for our engines when you get up into high boost/HP?

you need 83mm custom pistons ( but some other specs on them have to be changed as well )
you'll still want rods (same ones you'd use in 1.9L)
you'll need to get a little extra machine work done..the walls of the block will have to be clearenced for the aba crank/rods, and the IM shaft has to be machined.

They are exactly the same as the custom set they made for my car back in 2002. I would show you guys of the new set of JE pistons I had put in because the ring landings were bad on my old set, but I cant so you guys will have to wait till after the DM magazine issues comes out. :P
But believe me there is plenty of block between the 2 cylinder walls with the 83.5mm bore, even to put up with the 32+psi boost levels I run.
