minium thickness of brake rotors?

Default minium thickness of brake rotors?

I am getting ready to replace my brake pads and need to know if I should replace the rotors? I know once they get too thin they need to be replaced. Does anyone know what that measurement is when installing new pads?

Default For most A4's, 1.8T, 2.8, f/t and Quattro,

front rotors are .915" minimum, and rears are .316" minimum. It's also cast into the rotor, but usually hard to read...

Default can a caliper be fit in there?

(measuring tool not brake caliper)
