I recently purchased mintex brake pads for my dad's S4, unfortunately...well, fortunately, they were the wrong pads. They're A4 pads.
Anyway, I have 1998 A4 1.8TQM and I don't know if these pads will work on my car. There are two numbers on the box:
MDB1826 and 90R-01018/231
They have sensors which are square(ovular).
Can anyone tell me if these pads will work with my car?
Thank you very much.

you dont have to connect the brake pad sensor.... hell the pair I took off my car had the sensor cables cut off. Earlier cars dont have brake wear sensors.
