I don't remember the exact price of the pads for my 99.5 A4, but it was around $50 for the rears and $100 for the fronts (fronts have wear sensors). Prices may be different for other model A4's.
Andrew is great and provides fantastic customer service.

which is the same as the '00. Thanks, Snick.
I cut the plug off of the old oem pad leaving about an inch of wire attached to the plug. Then I connected the two wires together and taped it up and then connected it back to the plug going to the car. This will create a permanent connection and will not be an issue with the brake light coming on. Now I don't have the brake wear sensing anymore, but I can live with that. With this method you can buy the pads w/o sensors and save some money. Also when Minetex does come out with compatible plugs I can disconnect the cutoff oem plug and plug in new pads.
You could also go the other route and cut off the plug off the Minetex pad and solder the old oem plug to it and connect up. Then the sensor will work as normal.
More labor now and have the car do the checking or less labor now and check the pads yourself. I chose to check myself.
