Mintex Pads....more
I ordered a set of mintex red box brake pads from AWE Tuning; however, when I installed them, the sensors did not match up. Does Mintex not offer a brake pad with the correct plug for my 2001 2.8Q brake pad sensor? Any advice is welcome...TIA

If the circuit is complete (ditch the connectors, splice and shrink-tube it)
than the brake wear lite should not illuminate....if the Brake lite is on, not brake wear, but the BRAKE light, than you may have a completely different problem, ck the fluid level, ABS sensors and other things that are easy to see. I think the pad wear indicator is differnt from a Brake system problem lite, but what the hell do I know, I have a 98 with no sensors!!!

They do offer a pad with the correct plug, i just installed some last Friday.
