Default Mintex Red Box pads with an A8 brake upgrade....

Has anyone with this upgrade ever have a problem with the inside pad on both sides shifting under light braking. For example, you can hear a sharp click when you back out of a parking spot while applying the brakes. If so what did you do to fix it?

Default Use some anti-squeal...

Auto part stores should have them. They keep the pads from squealing and chattering. Just follow the direction, and that should fix it.

It is not a squeal...the inside pad is actually shifting and hitting the carrier.

Default yeah.. and makes sounds like clink, clink?

The product is made for anti-squeal ... but they also work when the backplates come loose from the caliper (basically it's glue/dampening compound). The stuff costs $5. Won't do any harm trying it.

Also, check to make sure you have all the parts back on the brake caliper, ie, the retaining spring.
