Mintex Red Box pads suck. these are the worst pads I've ever driven with.

I agree...
I think that when you compare them to oem pads on oem calipers and rotors they are a slight improvement in performance and a big improvement in the dust department. Anyone looking for significant performance improvement will be dissapointed. They are popular and get good reviews from everyone who switched from stock.

Thats what I posted the last couple of times I responded to posts about Mintex Reds
I really don't like them for daily use..and especially for anything more rigorous.

I really think they changed them...
my first set (2 years ago) was perfect... no dust, no noise.
My second set after the VIR trip was simply horrible. It squeaks like a pig about to get slaughtered, dust was above normal as well.
/waiting for my carbotech from purems...
