Mintex Red Box pads suck. these are the worst pads I've ever driven with.

I think that when you compare them to oem pads on oem calipers and rotors they are a slight improvement in performance and a big improvement in the dust department. Anyone looking for significant performance improvement will be dissapointed. They are popular and get good reviews from everyone who switched from stock.

my first set (2 years ago) was perfect... no dust, no noise.
My second set after the VIR trip was simply horrible. It squeaks like a pig about to get slaughtered, dust was above normal as well.
