Misfire in Cylinder 1...NEED HELP!

Yo...I've been having misfiring problems for a few weeks now. I changed spark plugs and took a bunch of VAG readings. The misfire is in cylinder 1. It happens under WOT really bad -- especially when the turbo is spooling hard. The problem is either carbon deposits, coil pack, throttle body, clogged injector or ignition. Anyone have experience with this? I am working on th car as we speak. Someone mentioned something about having misfires due to an improper TB adaption. I have run my stock and APR ECUs and let them adapt many times, but he said something about some kind of VAG codes to re-align it. He didn't sound too sure of himself though. However, I noticed a DTC saying something about a bad adaption, but I can't get it back. Anyone have any experiece or ideas? HELP!
Thanks,
Jon Ghenn

if it follows the coil, then that is the problem, if that doesnt change anything, pull the fuel rail & switch the #1 injector with another & see if the drtonation follows the injector... this should either show you whats wrong or @ least it will narrow down your problems

Just to verfiy, try finding someone local to borrow a coil pack from.
*knock* *knock*
Jon G: Hi, I live next door, would you happen to have a coil pack I could I borrow?
neighbor: No, but we have some sugar.

Again, not positive, but you could always ask him to read off the part # on his coil pack and compare to yours.

just pull it off the coil pack. They have a built in resistor which go bad first. Coils themselves are hard to break. Cheaper too.
