Misfire in cylinders 2 and 6 - dealer says that . . .
I've got either a bad coil pack (or 2, since cylinders 2 and 6 are on different coil packs) or 2 bad fuel injectors. Considering that the coil packs are $179 a pop, I'm thinking that I might first try replacing the spark plug wires for cylinders 2 and 6 to see if that does the trick. If I've still go the rough idle/hesitation, then I supposed I'll move onto the injectors, followed by the coil pack(s). I've already replaced the plugs and fuel filter. What's left? Any other ideas/advice? If I replace the spark plug wires, could they be damanged by a bad coil pack? TIA.

Your new spark plugs could be causing the misfires if they aren't gapped correctly.
Did you change the plugs before or after the misfires started?
Call clairparts for coilpacks...they should be about $50 ea.

Move the wires around - I mean unplug from coil pack and sparkplug to swap...
label what you do to avoid confusion - meaning, on the coilpack, label which cylinder is #1-6. It's probably stamped in there anyway.
Then, depending on the lenght of the wire, move from a good cylinder to a bad cylinder and see if the misfire moves. If it doesn't, it probably is a coil pack (because the ignition module is built in). See if you can find a fellow 2.8er (30V only) to borrow some parts for swapping

Try swapping coilpacks between the good cylinders and the bad ones to see if the misfires move.
If they do, you've isolated the issue, and you can order new coilpacks from Clair parts.
