Default Misfire problem... Can anyone help me please?

Hi guys,

I have a problem with the A.

Here's the log:

VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 557 N
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT MOTR HS D05
Software Coding: 06201
Work Shop Code: WSC 06325
3 Faults Found:
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-00 - -
16687 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P0303 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate
18014 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1606 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate

So I've played around and swapped some spark plugs and coil packs... The misfire is only the the third cylinder (P0303)...

My bet, the ICM.

What do you guys think?

Thanks
Mat

Default Possibly, since you have a 557-N ECU. That means you have an AEB motor.

Default Well, I am the king of "STFA", but that's how I found that article

You're not the first to have this issue, and your gut thought was correct.

One last tip: Change the subject line when replying.

You've got the same exact car I do. What color?
