feels like your engine has the hiccups...it's very noticable

Default I too ripped out Denso IRs after bad misfire...
Put in 91-94 200/S4 plugs. Don't remember the specs, but they are way expensive. However, the problem went away. Mechanic thought coil packs, I suggested he swap plugs first. Whew!

Coil pack is fine...with 58* temp tonight and 80* temp yesterday afternoon...misfire almost stopped

Its official...nice and smooth with a .032 gap....thanks god it wasnt the CP

Yup. .040 is too much to arc predictably on the factory ignition

Default .040 is just fine for stock boost levels.
Once you go with a chip that is running over 1 bar of boost the spark starts to blow out because of the extra pressure in the cylinder.

yeah I didn't notice when people were saying .040, they were stock or N/A
