Default Missing bolt on shaky headlights: Suggestions to fix?

Hey everyone-

I'm missing the 3rd screw that stabilizes the headlights. I am unable to get another one (I've taken it in but I'm missing some piece to hold the bolt)

I'm thinking about shimming the headlights with some foam to stabilize them. Any suggestions? I might also take them into another shop and see what they can do.

can't you just ziptie the hole that the bolt goes into, or you can't?

You're missing the small metal clip that is threaded...just get a new one.

Default Re: can't - Tried that but I can't get to the other side of the hole. How can I grab the zip?

Tried that. I can't get the other side of it. It's such a tight fit.

Default Where can I get that? And how can I install it with the tight fit? Or could I...

Or could I remove the headlights, and add the clip before putting it back together???

Does Audi carry this part? Anything I could buy at Home Depot to get it done?

Default You have to remove the headlight first.....

This is a very small, cheap part. It has to be bought at Audi (no home depot). It is a small metal clip that has a threaded hole in the middle of it. Im not sure what to call it, but they are fairly common on A4's.
