Default Not to bash Barrie, but I'd reserve judgement until I saw what he wrote first...

Maybe the respose was justified. I Mean maybe B.'s letter went something like this:

You cocksucking useless waste of sperm,
I specifically told you we didn't have a deal unless you supplied EVERYTHING I needed to install this ****ing worthless piece of **** you sent me. Can you not read? Do you need a 1st grader to explain it to you? Send me some ****ing screws or I'll personally come over to your house and pull it out of your **** for brains skull!

Love, barrie.

Now if that was the initial letter, I'd probably respond like wise.

I doubt Barrie did though.<p>

i bent ove backwards to help you, and i held up my end of the deal to a t, i didn' retaliate until you attacked me and my business on 2 occasions, and then i still offered to send you the hardware that held the changer in my car. but you started this childish bull****, wich is what it is. but you didn't post how you insulted me and my business in here did you. i am not in any position in this world to take that **** from you or anybody else.

Default really geoff?

so glad you wrote.

1. did you deliver what was promised? no.
2. did i insult your business? if by insulting you mean, did i question taht you delivered less than you promised - yes.
3. did i insult you? see point 2.
4. does a businessman with customers act the way you have? not where i spend my days.
5. did you write the e-mail i copied to the board? yes, see point 4.
6. did you give me a good deal on the cd changer - i think so - it was acceptable to me, but just because i got a 'good deal' doesn't mean i should accept less than was agreed to.

childish? warning others about your company and your treatment of customers is childish? you threatened me physically - that's a first for me, business threatens customer, but if you wish to continue you this, you're barking up the wrong tree -

because it's your business and reputation at stake if you threaten customers.

are you a reputable company or a hoodlum?

thanks,

barrie

Default in what way ......

did i not deliver what was promised here is a direct exerpt form the email you sent me, you show me where you mention the bolts and i did not deliver? please confirm that it's an audi cd changer that will fit a delta system for a 97 audi a4.

once, i get confirmation, i'll send the money order (wednesday), so you should see it on friday or thereabouts. so where di i not deliver? as far as the rest of these points i am not going to stand here and let you insult me or my business or anything else without cause.

Default here ya go:

hi geoff:

don't think so.

i have the e-mails to back this up, geoff.

e-mail from 7/5 from barrie: Also, I assume that this deal includes the attaching mechanisms to connect the changer to the trunk of the car.

you even acknowledge in another post that the connectors take 'special hex bolts', so you knew this was important!!!!!!!!!

installing a cd changer without the bolts was not a huge deal, but don't you think a guy would deserve to know that he's going to have to drill his car in order to make the install? don't you think this is probably IMPORTANT information to share with a customer?

thanks, barrie

Default This is all quite amusing...2 years ago I bought a changer from

a private seller through eBay and when it arrived it was missing the hexbolts which are used to mount the bracket to the roof of the trunk. I asked the seller about them and he said they could not be removed from the roof of his trunk without deforming them (I guess they were plastic bolts). I went to the Dealer and asked about the the bolts and they said they only come packaged with a new bracket, which I didn't need.

I went down to the local auto parts store and spent $2 on some bolts.

Now why are barrie and modernperf getting all hot and bothered over $2 I'll never know?

Let's all be civilized....and consider it water under the bridge. Move on...more important things in life. Drive your A4 down a twisty country road and relax....<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=161"</a><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/a4registrydl.jpg" BORDER=0></a>
