Default Momentum called to follow up on my service experience...gave em both barrels with a smile :)

I have to say, I feel much better and hope they correct their mistake based on my feedback.

To recap,
* My oil change took 4.5 hours
* Oil overfilled by more than 1 liter
* Service booklet was not stamped
* Service advisor attempted to return my vehicle after ~4 hours without being detailed
* Service advisor took off for lunch and "hoped I wouldnt be there when he got back"
* Had to pester detailing staff to wash my car
* Detail job was not rushed and not satisfactory
* Customer accomodations were an insult

Not exactly what I was expecting for a $35K luxury sports sedan...

Default Never seen any dealer do a good job of detailing a car after service. So I tell them not to bother.

They may wash the car and dry it and get it clean, but it seems like most dealers I've encountered use some sort of special swirl-mark-creating rag that makes the finish look worse than when I brought it in. I'd rather do it myself. Of course, there's no excuse for overfilling the oil or otherwise providing poor service.

Default I was extremely pleased with Don McGill's Service!

I live about 3 Minutes from Momentum, but I refuse to go there for service. Instead I drive 30 Minutes to McGill and have never been disappointed.

Default I have a sevice question...

I just bought my 1.8T form a guy in San Antonio. He had it modified up to APR Stage I. He gave me the original computer. If I have it serviced here in Houston, do I need to put the original back in as to not void the warrantee? I was going to take it to Momentum but now I guess not anymore. Also, is there a local Audi club I could join?

Agreed....if you care about your paint, don't let your dealer wash your A4.

Default Merely having a chipped ECU doesn't void anything. (more)

If your car isn't experiencing any problems, the mere presence of a chip doesn't "void" your warranty. It's when a problem possibly attributable to the chip arises that the dealer and/or AoA may take the position that you have no warranty coverage for that particular problem due to the presence of the chip. However, if in the absence of any current problems you fear that your dealer may make a note in your file that your car is chipped, say for future reference if a problem arises, then by all means swap the OEM ECU back in before taking the car in for even routine service. Many would consider this the ::ahem:: prudent thing to do.

As luck would have it they bungled my purchase too, but it was a $1750 (Quattro) error in my favor!
