Okay pictured above is my first issue. The heat shield is supposed to fit over a bolt which is also holding in the stock heat shielding. This is not going to happen on my car without mangling the origional shielding. See how the stock shielding is being pushed towards the motor? Fairly lame IMO. Providing enough heat shielding with the kit would have been the solution here.

Here is more on the above, from a different angle.
You cannot see it clearly, but they suggest the air intake tubing is to go behind the passanger side headlight. Not on my car it's not. It kind of just lays an inch from the fan. Real dynamic if you ask me.
Anyhow, I followed the directions to the letter, exactly as they specify, and this is what I ended up with.

That flexible duct crap isn't going anywhere. Especially if you don't have the car up on a lift (A) and have a body kit which prevents reaching up and grabbing it (B). Add to that the fact that the filter threatens to simply pop out of the airbox at any moment (C), and that the flexible duct tubing doesn't seem all that sturdy (D), and you've got four numerical reasons why it doesn't happen like instructions say it will happen.
