To everyone who has been complaining about 98 headlights or anyone just not satisfied with the lame headlights, you may recall I posted a couple days ago about a FIX. In addition to removing the "hats" over the low beam and fog bulbs, I also removed a small metal sleeve around the low beams which also had a huge effect on the brightness and pattern. Don't waste your money on expensive euro lights or high watt bulbs that burn out!! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. This REALLY did work great (I had my doubts at first too!), and I'd hate to see anyone out there waste money before trying this (what have you got to lose, you can undo it if you don't like it!!)

As long as this isn't too annoying to oncoming traffic. I had guessed that was why the hats were there, but I also suspect that people would have been flashing their high beams at you if this were the case.
