Default More nakedness...

I have a strong feeling that AW is going to hate the direction I take the car but it should be an interesting ride anyway.

Default i dont keep secrets...the car isnt going in one direction like most people like

Its not going to be a track car, its not gonna be a show car. Its just going to be my car.

I am building the car the way i want it. I will strip it down to nothing and then rebuild it. I have a vague picture in my mind of the direction.

Engine: will get built to a 2 liter but keep the t28 for now.

Engine Bay: shaved with a wire tuck for a nice clean appearance.

Interior: gone but cleaned up. roll cage 2 racing seats and that is going to be about it. maybe 2 speakers.
Drivetrain: Stiff mounts and reinforcement.

Exterior: Finally finish up the widebody with a few more twists. Sunroof is leaving.

Suspension: Going to figure out an air option. Most likely going to go custom with the control arms as well. Not sure how much of a project the suspension will end up being.

Everything on the car cleaned, coated, polished, or painted.

Default "Its just going to be my car" Isn't that what matters the most?

My gay lover wannabe Mandeep seems to follow my posts with stalker-like abilities and is always commenting on how if I haven't owned something, how would I know?

Well guess what, everyone has opinions, so who gives a fvck what the other forum member thinks? It's not anyone's job to police and bully members into what they think is correct. Kettle/pot bull****? Whatever, those of you who think that, you know who you are.

Fvck what other people think, it's what YOU want to do that matters the most. Why is it anyone's business to dictate what you do with your car? Are they sponsoring it? Did they invest in your project? Are they helping in anyway, shape, or form?

Best of luck to you, and sorry about the rant.

Exhibit A lol

The forum is a great resource of information. I enjoy reading about unique projects and enjoy posting my projects to see what others think, positive or negative. I have been around long enough to know that alot of the members here have certain views and alot of my ideas conflict with what they think should be done to our cars.

Default depends...

some people are so locked into doing what they think others deem cool and there is real tragedy as I think they do actually get to the point where they think it is stupid too. But I'm not saying this about this B5 in all seriousness.

Now these locals, I can't say the same. I can say that I can't wait to see them and their mods once they are few more months down the road. I call wing on the white one sometime after Christmas.
