Mounts done. '98 2.8

Before anyone posts "no pictures, it didn't happen", I didn't take any pics. I can't seem to stay clean enough to touch a camera.
I did want to post to the board that I highly recommend replacing engine / tranny / snub mounts on higher mileage vehicles especially. The improvement in feel of the car is similar to when I did all new control arms a year ago.
Most of the information in the FAQ is for the 1.8. For 2.8 drivers a few tips:
-You would be hard-pressed to need more than 10 minutes for tranny mounts. No heat-shield in the way as on the 1.8. VERY easy.
-passenger side engine mount was much more difficult than driver's. I used a medium-length (too short and the socket is stopped by the bolt, too long and you can't fit your 1/4" ratchet) socket to get the top nut off - 13mm I believe. Passenger side would come out much easier if you have a couple of breaks in your arm to bend around the items in front of the mount. Both mounts had tears in the rubber from flexing.
-snub was easy. Old snub crumbled off, PureMS snub went in with little trouble (a little pressure on the radiator support and it popped right on)
Biggest problem was due to a stripped torx bolt on the bumper shock.
Since I did all mounts at the same time, I'm not sure which had the greatest effect. The car feels great again - even at 213,000 miles...

Put the wood on the oil pan and in the middle of the tranny. Engine I didn't really lift more supported, tranny I lifted a cm at most - tranny mounts slide right out.

I have a mere 78k on my 99, but I'm guessing the mounts are something that wear with time, not just with mileage. So I'll probably be replacing mine one of these days...

They've been sitting on the shelf for months. The old mounts never looked awful or leaked, so I kept putting it off.
Took me 2.5 hrs total, and I was not working quickly.
