APR for the clear upgrade path IMHO.

Default Clear upgrade path...as well as less expensive ;-)

I agree. If you plan on taking it to the next level (exhaust, bigger turbo, etc), then I'd go with APR. However, if you're pretty sure just a chip will do it for you, I'd get the MTM chip. I've driven an APR chipped '00 car and it doesn't quite pack the punch that my MTM has. I might go so far as to say that my MTM chip is "faster" ;-) Just my .02..

Default Exactly. MTM doesn't even come into the picture for me for a big turbo upgrade.

WAY too expensive.

Default APR - more stocklike power delivery.

MTM - pulls you into the back of the seat, once you get past 3K rpms.

APR is cheaper, MTM is not.

APR will upgrade your software for free, but they don't offer stage II specific programming. MTM will charge you for Stage II programming, unless you buy their rediculously overpriced exhaust.

Which tuner/distributor is closer to you?

Default GIAC

clear upgrade path, smooth power, lots of torque, less expensive. Although, APR is setting up shop in Denver, that might be good for you.
