had mtm chip placed, blazing torque but spent quite a pretty penny. any way to confirm that an mtm chip was placed?? and not another brand chip? please help.

Where did you get the chip from? If it was from an MTM distributor, I doubt very highly that you'd end up with some other brand chip in the car. Usually, the distributors only offer one particular brand of chip. I've never seen one that would sell you either a Garret, MTM or Wetterauer for instance.
