After using an online buying service, I received a very courteous offer from Marty Beam of Newport Auto Center in Newport Beach, CA. Marty has been very forthcoming and pleasant.
After telling him that I probably really want the features on a MY2000 A4, Marty suggested I order one, with a 3-4 month wait. He said it could be ordered for $1200 over invoice.
Great! But..what's the invoice on the MY2000 A4's? Anyone know? If the dealers are ordering them, the info must be out there somewhere.
Thanks,
DD
I paid $1000 over invoice on my 99.5 (+4.3%) so even with a slight price increase you will probably still be in the +4%-5% over range which is a good price. I don't think anyone will know the actual price until September. Don't make yourself sick in the meantime worrying about the price. I imagine Audi wants this car to remain a hot-selling item so I suspect the price will not go up much. Just IMO.
parkerpt
99.5 1.8T qms
I negotiated $1000 above invoice on a 99.5 but when they couldn't get me exactly what I wanted in a 99.5 I told them to get me a 2000.
My dealer told me that the diff would be very small on the order of a few hudred dollars at most.
