My 2000 A4 1.8t is at 53K, should I be as worried about the timing belt as earlier A4's?

Been off of the A4 forum for a while. Are there a lot of 2000's having timing belt failures now-a-days?

The consensus is 4 yrs/60K (whichever you hit first) on all model years.
There have been a few premature failures on 2000's and 2001's. Maybe not enough to be statistically significant, but enough to raise an eyebrow for sure. Just get it done when you hit 60K.
