Default I remember Ed when...

he was just a young naive boy, still learning to ********** at the keyboard.

Clearly he has now mastered that skill.

We love you man.

Default JERK!

What am I chopped liver? What about the time when you suckers gave me all that money for my trip to tijua.....er....my timing belt? ;-)

I know my experience on AW's boards wouldn't have been half as fun if you weren't around. Good having you, even though you are a big jerk!

Default LOL!

It's not what it used to be...but not all that different from what it used to be either.

You've found a way to weave your experiences stemming from this place into something productive in your life! Congrats to you old man! Now, can you mail me the recipe? I'm coming up on 50, and I need to find some way to justify my existence here! :-P

Default another important point is the quantity of used A4's that started to hit the market.

that's when I showed up. The moment the prices of used ones fell enough for me to be able to buy. I'm often totally amazed by this site. The first time I "tuned" a car was about 1988. It could take you YEARS to find the answer to a problem that is often solved on AW in under ONE MINUTE. astonishing.

Default I see you've been drinking again, young man.

Nicely done, Ed. Happy 50,000.

Default excellent post, I am w/ the new breed, but am humbled by your work.

it may not be the same as before, but some of the experiences you learn here are shared w/ all. I remember when I first found this forum, it was about 2 years ago, I was not just impressed with the plethora of knowledge, but with the level of expertise that has grown to become standard. There is something more to this place than just text written messages, for that I thank you Ed.
