My A4's engine making loud noises
Well I must admit I made a big mistake by purchasing a car on ebay out of state (A 96 A4 2.8 Quattro), but I guess now I'm learning my lesson.
In any case, while the car runs fine, the engine seems to make loud noises, & sounds almost like a lawnmower whenever I rev or accelerate at any speeds. The only time it's not making these noises is when it's idle, not being reved. It sounds like the engine is sick, and if I can compare the noise to anything, it sounds almost like a riced out honda, only worse! It COULD possibly be coming from the exhaust but it really sounds like it's coming from the engine. Anyone else ever experience these noises/problems?
