Default my air compressor is sending oil through the air lines - what should i check?

I've disconnected everything and put it back together, and when I'm working with my air tools, oil starts to seep and get everywhere... I can't think of what could be wrong?

Default drain out all fluid first

make sure that there is no water in the system.

Default I just bought/started using it tho?

I'm like 99% positive I set it all up right... don't know what you could really mess up. Screw in two things, turn it on and go?

Default if the compresser was tilted this could cause the oil...

if it was stored or transported in the wrong orientation it would cause oil to pass the rings and get into the system. it will deminish with use. this is why they transport refrigerators standing up.

Default I broke it out last month out of the box, it was upright and everything.

There was oil leaking through when I was using it with my tools, and I thought that was normal... then I tried using the air blower and it blew oil all over my car.

Default happens to the best of us....

had this happen while making some turbine blades. took two days in a vapor degreaser to get it clean.
