I thought this was a heat related problem, but when its hot outside I crack my windows about 1/2" at work to it doesnt get too hot inside, but my coworkers told me they have seen my alarm go off for a minute and then it resets itself. Could this be caused by a vehicle driving by or a strong wind blowing into the car?
I have never seen or heard the alarm go off when the windows are rolled up.

it might fly in just right, and goes in the path of the sensor, or maybe gets on the sensor itself? it only happens once and a great while (5-8 times per summer) but a couple times it did happen it happened 2 times ina row, like 3 minutes apart, i gave up and just rolled up my wondows, and it stoped.

and beeping your horn. I know it's really annoying. That's why those geniuses at audi built the car with an anti-fairy system. You can enable it by pressing the black button located at the bottom of the driver's side B pillar. When turned on it emits an ultra sonic tone that drives fairies crazy. They won't come within 100 yards of your car, let alone fly into it and beep your horn.
That's why I love Audi, they think of everything

On that note, mine doesn't go off when I tilt the sun roof but leave the headliner panel closed. There are vents in the panel to allow the hot air to escape. Give it a shot instead of the windows...
