Default Eric Freedman at Creative Showcase...

there might be a few of the one on the left still around, there were 300 of those made and signed by all the drivers, 80~100 were taken internally by Audi (they comissioned the work apparently) so there are 200 in public circulation. Last I heard he had something like 7 or 8 of them left...but that was over a year ago. I think you can get it all framed up like that for a little under $400.

The other two are unfortunately no longer available. They made 500 of each which were distributed to the dealers to be given out or hung up inside the dealership (they weren't framed like this, that was something I had Eric do for me custom patterned after the one on the left) By the time I found out about them they were all gone...so Eric contacted the artist and it turns out he had 20 proofs which were used to verify the litho press was set up correctly before they started the serial run. Normally the proofs aren't sold to the public because they're really something of a diagnostic tool for press setup and such and they belong to the artist etc. Well he managed to wrestle away #12 out of 20 on each of the proofs so that I could have at this pair. I think framed the two on the right came out to about $850~900, so in total you're looking at $1200 or 1300 worth of Audi crap...but they are damn nice. The frames are really deep heavily matted, the colors have all been coordinated to match and authentic audi badges have been placed onto the mattings.

He does really nice work...the two on the right showed up IMHO poorly framed, they didn't use a deep frame like the one on the left and the acrylic was bowing out from the pressure of the rings. I hit him up and was like that's cheesy for what I paid Eric. He was like OMG they did what...I'm so sorry man...ship them back (which he paid for) then he ripped the framers a new a-hole and got them back to me in perfect condition re-framed in frames that match the one on the left. I'm very happy with them...it's a lot of money but IMHO worth it, they just look right & classy.

Regards,

James R.
