My basslink pictures

First many thanks to Quattro Pete(in search, he posted most of answers to my questions) and other basslink owners.
Here is what I found about it;
Mounting behind the rear seat- it wasn't working. After it was mounted and if I try to close seat, screw doesn'hold and falls out. Material behind the seat is not strong enough to hold screws that were supplied with the basslink.
Mounting on the rear deck - Well...I get floor space but if I need to take it out for bigger luggage, it is going to be pain to take it out.
Mounting face down - I get more vibration thru seat but I notice rear deck was rattling a bit. The Dynomat might be solution to it. But then I lose more floor space.
So I ended up like this:

Close up view. Notice how much space I get!

Front view

Since the rear speaker will give me trouble again, I took it out and now I get more bass thru holes.

I used to have a basstube and it changed sound drastically depends on where it mounted. I didn't located the basslink way back in trunk to see how it sound. But, no matter how I position the basslink near seat, I get about same result of sound.
Sound is way better than the stock Bose. I was amaze how small this thing is. Not only it save space but it has good bass. Oh yeah, passengers will gets good back massage! ;-)

I love it. It's way light, compact, stealthy. I get enough rumbling bass to be hear inside.(not outside)
Of course, it doesn't give sound like sealed box. But personally I think that's way too loud(I don't know how you can drive with head shaking bass), way too heavy and takes up most of trunk.
Basslink is budget upgrade, but I would consider even I spend more money to replace all speakers and amps.

if you stick a tube so that it's blasting right against a rear corner, you'll get more bass. Point it away from a corner and you'll get less.
