Default A friend of mine had a 91 Stealth Twin Turbo (~VR4). That car was such a nightmare to maintain

that he took it to an auction place and sold it for $1000 (not a typo) a few months ago. Things were breaking faster than he could fix them, and he dropped an enormous amount of money into it over the 8 years he owned it. He just wanted to wash his hands of it.

I had a GSR...love it, very reliable, but 0 torque. Drove me nuts that way.

RX7's are a sweet drive, but not sure how the reliability or tunability was.

rx7 all the way (damn they move and are just perfect) 300 would be next

he knows a whole lot about jap engines and that ****...he loves german but jap is "cheaper/easier"

Default Jap is cheaper, and proly in some cases easier.

Although the 1.8T doesnt seem to be too hard to upgrade.

thanks raj...RX-7s aren't very reliable, but cheap to fix and very tunable (3rd Gen)
