My car is finally making BOOST!
After about a week of having my car chipped with Dahlback software my car is now pulling hard, the ecu has adapted!
The turbo makes so much more noise, sounds so hot.
I was driving and I was wondering " why is my fan on? " I go to turn it off when I see that it isn't on. I was puzzled for a minute and took my foot of the gas and the sound went away. I then floored it and I knew the sound was my turbo spitting out more air then ever! Man it was a good feeling.
To make things better, after my revelation a 740iL pulled up next to me at the light. It was on. He easily pulled half a car length away from me right away, but as soon as the boost kicked in I was nose to nose. It was like this to ~60 when my car shifted to 3rd, and I pulled a couple feet ahead! I almost **** myself. Wish I could have kept going to see how long I could hold my own, but at 70mph I had to slow down.
How the **** did my 1.8t keep up with his 4.4 V8? The other guy must have been thinking that too. When we stopped he just kept looking at my car, wondering what I had in there.
Dahlback is the shiznit! Smooth as a babies butt, makes the power as if the car were stock. No spikes in boost, just smooth build of power, and plenty of it.
Only things I have done is a Hyperboost XS DV, and Dahlback software with their race N75K valve. Can't wait to get exhaust and injectors!

Thats what I was thinking,
And maybe he was ****ing with me. No way to know for certain. Only thing I can say is his car sounded like it was AOT, but I know that 4.4 is putting out ~290hp and 320ft/lbs. Maybe they don't do well at altitude? H

uh, 540i 6 speeds run low 15s and that's about what 1bar 1.8T manuals can do
so an automatic sled like the 740iLONG should be beaten by our cars (they run high 15s)

happy to hear your boosting strong! but you know the forum flames on shizzy street races..
Your much faster now which ROCKS just don't street race past the speed limit. Congrats again..and again..mmm kick in the pants.
