Sexy Blue A4

This problem only seems to happen when its really hot outside but my car has problems starting. I turn the key for about 10 seconds and it sounds like its trying to start. Once it finally does the car boggles/idles down and dies. After the car seems to have started, I press on the gas and it just boggles and dies again. My car is chipped btw. not sure if this has any effect on my problem. Just thought i'd mention it. Once again, this problem only seems to happen when its really hot out.

I just had to replace my purge valve for that reason.

Would either of those throw any codes? My car isn't throwing any codes. Also, was your cars problem on and off? Because most of the time my car runs/starts just fine for some reason. My problem has happened maybe 4-5 times in the past 3 weeks out of about 20 or so times taking it out for a drive. I just came back from a drive and it ran just fine.

May not be happening often enough to set the CEL. Check the purge valve and the lines going to it.

when the car sat in the sun and the interior temp went up over 100F. the fuel pump relay would go thermal.
