Bought my car about 8 months ago, and since then this is the maintenence I have performed.
1999 A4 1.8tq
-Apr Snub mount
-New fuel filter
-New Air filter
-Timing belt + tensioner + other belts + waterpump and thermostat
-Now running 5w30 Royal Purple engine oil and larger Audi oil filter
-Changed the rear diff fluid to 75w90 RP
-Fixed side airbag igniter issue
-Fixed Evap leak.
-New g12+ coolant + flush
What else should I start changing/replacing/lubing now that I have reached 60k miles?
-I'm assuming Brake fluid, hydraulic, and PS fluid (Any Reccomendations?)
-I just recieved the tool to change the transmission fluid, I've seen alot of arguing about the correct fluid to use, what would be best for my 1.8t manual?

My car just tapped 100k and I did oil, tranny and rear diff. today. I used RP Max Gear in both ends. It's Gl-4 and 5 rated. Use the big syringe to refill the tranny too. I works really well.

Replace vac lines, check valves.
Replace oil jet suction pump (Y pump)
Clean MAF
Clean throttle body
Seafoam
New plugs
(I'm going to try Redline fluids in my diffs soon. I hear Motul is a good choice).
If you want more to do...replace engine mounts and transmission mounts
Good Work!

no ~huge~ difference...however, the car does feel more 'connected' when shifting - less slop. My old engine mounts were in good shape (a little leakage on the passengers side one)
Transmission mounts - made a big difference for me. I was getting alot of feedback from my steering wheel at idle. Thought it was my snub - recenterd it - nothing. Changed my trans mounts and it was much, much better. However, the car does feel a bit rougher at idle overall (before it was mostly transmitted to the steering wheel and my seat, now the whole car moves together better). Not bad, just different.
Your experience will vary depending upon the condition of your existing mounts - mine did not appear to be in bad shape.
I also used S4 trans mount on the passenger side and filled the stock drivers side mount with urethane to stiffen it a bit.
