my coolant has been contaminated

can i just get the system flushed or do i need to replace the tank?

they say it looks greenish brown, but i thought it was suppose to be red

Sounds like someone put a non G12 coolant in on top of the G12.

You can try flushing the system and refilling with the proper coolant and water mixture (50/50) and see how it goes. From what I gather the damage if any happens pretty quickly. If you don't have any leaks you may luck out.
