Stuff like that is a bonus. I like just going for the drive and meeting new people. Besides, I can't afford to buy anything. Maybe a snub mount.

the time has come when putting together a built 2.0L conversion kit would actually sell a few units...but figure the price of the kit would be 6-10k in addition to some *significant* labor.
Such a kit wouldn't sell more than a handful of units, so i really don't see APR making one...as they aren't a shop that does regular installs....and chasing a handful of sales dosen't make too much sense when people will have local speed shops that can do such conversion work for those people hardcore enough. A shop like PES or ECS could offer a 2.0L conversion since they would do that sort of work in their everyday business operations...after all it would all be souced parts (some other company like Carillo, JE or Wiseco would be providing the forged rods and pistons, etc...)
Not worth the development when they still have not brought back Stage 3+ (though their FMIC might allow that kit to be reborn). Id wager a properly set up $6k Stage 3+ kit would be a decent seller for people who want to shoot for ~330hp on pump gas (which was the original performance output of the S3+). Such a kit would give them a far better return.
Id wager that there may be two product annoucements at the BBQ...perhaps cams and their FMIC will be done? Those two products would be good sellers.
Offhand i can only think of 3 or 4 guys here with 2.0L conversions...half of them did their own custom work...not much of a market IMHO.
Cheers,
Sameer
