Here it is, a fun little project....
Does it work?
Not sure yet because out of the 3 laptops I have at my house. None have a serial port. I didn't realize that until I went to hook it up. I need a seial to USB connector/converter. But before I buy one I am gonna make sure this works via serial port.
Am I cheap?
Yes I am jewish. I just saved a couple hundred dollars making this. If it works and the free software isn't good enough. I will purchase the Software from Ross-tech. So for all you people who are going to rant and rave to support Ross-tech....whahh, whahh, whahh

There has been a mixed bag of feedback on inexpensive usb adaptors, so if you buy something, buy it local, and make sure you can return it.
