My car is going into limp mode and giving me a P1557 code and if I drive it long enough I also get a P1113 and P1114. Can't find any vacuum leaks anywhere.
Now I just tried unplugging the MAF and see how it runs and it's much better without it. Check Engine light did come on and got P1556, P1113 and P1114's right away along with the MAF sensor code.
Erased the codes and plugged it back in and back to almost immediate limp mode as I drove away. Checked codes again and sure enough P1557.
Are these symptoms of a bad MAF or should I keep looking for another source of the problem?
Sorry for the long boring post.
