Default is my pancake valve bad?

i'm told the valve directly above the N75 valve is called the "pancake" valve. What is the actual name for this? I'm also told that if you blow in one end air will come out the other end, and if you blow in the other end, air should not come out. well, air comes out of both ends, do i need to replace it?

Default I'm not sure. Check the rest of your vac lines anyway. Damn things are so hard to find...

I posted pictures of my leak and faulty hose a little ways back. Search for my posts on it, and they do have pictures.

Default It might not be bad.

The pancake valve is designed to allow air pass through it. It does close when a certain amount of suctions applied, even while closed it has a hole in it to allow air to pass. The pancake valve could cause your boost problems if it wasn't closing but unlikely. Click on the link to read about the valve. You most likely just need to clean it. I'd also clean your PCV. Pancake valve #28, BPV #27, N75 #26, PCV #17, suction pump #11, Check all the hoses to all of these components or built a boost tester.

Seriously, you need to search the forums for pancake valve and PCV

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2443769.phtml</a
