My PES G1 Install *Pix & Vid*
Preface: Before i start, i want to first acknowledge Tomasz for helping me get the G1 installed. He has a lot of background on the G1 and i was fortunate enough to employ his services on Sunday. Tomasz, thank you man! I also want to thank Roger for taking care of my vacuum lines - appreciate the help!
Words escape me. My car is an absolute blast to drive now. The throttle response is wonderful and the more i push the pedal, the more she goes. It's almost like driving your new Audi for the first time - yeah, you know the feeling
Started about 9-9:30ish and i was pulling out of the driveway by 6:30pm (we were really done about 5:30ish). During that span we did the complete t/b job along with the s/c install, new injectors, and new vacuum lines. It was a long day, but my wait is over (and so is yours)....

nice. I bet that feels awesome to have that car now and in only one days time. I bet it
it just blows ones mind to think of how it was the last time you drove it Saturday night. Me and my 30V are super jealous and can remind you any time as we are getting walked by pretty much any other v6 on the road
Sorry don't know much about your car/story so here goes some dumb questions... Why did you go with a G1? Is it a stock 30V engine other than the G1? And that is still an AHA engine in 99, right? Does it matter if you have DBW or not with the PES SC stuff?

I went with the G1 for two reasons.....
Price
Intercooling
It's a stock AHA engine and the only thing added was the s/c. Not sure about your DBW question - but i believe you have to run a G2 if your car is DBW

Re: To add on to your questions, what the difference was between G1 and G2?
The main, and biggest difference between the two are that the G1 mounts on the side of the engine, and the G2 mounts on top of the manifold. There is also a slight increase in HP with the G2. I've heard install is easier with the G1, but i have no experience installing a G2 so i can't compare
