I just had a local audio shop install my pioneer deck. I just have the regular stereo, but they said they had to hard wire my rear speakers.
Now with the deck off or the car off(with the key out) the rears keep buzzing. They said it was the capacitors from the amps. Should I worry about this, I'm bringing it back tomorrow.
Also will Audi not warrenty my speakers now that I have an aftermarket deck?? The place found my left front not to be working before install. The did just take that panel off to fix my handle.

you expect them to fix your stereo... after you installed an aftermarket system that in turn blew the speakers?
best of luck though
--caps? they don't do that... sounds like your amp isn't turning off -- are you using the amp in deck? what do you mean hard wire?

that was my argument, I asked them what was powering the rears, they pretty much didn't know, told them it was going to be a problem sending an amped signal to the amp. They told me not to worry about it. I agree that it sounds like the amps aren't turning off. Stock speakers Pioneer deck. The hard wiring was for the rear speakers only because they weren't part of the wiring harness so they had to wire directly to the deck instead of to the harness.
