Its only that side and its making the same noise when i drive slow (maybe fast to but i cant hear it then). Anyone encountered this before and is there a solution, perhaps a lubricant or something - thanks.

It may be a control arm instead of the suspension.

and check the condition of all of your control arms bushings and boots. (the car has so many control arms)..

some of it maybe torn and loosing grease and hence causing metal to meal friction/contact to the ball joints.

It squeeled a little but its more of an up and down that makes it creek like even when i get in.

The mechanic asked me if i was sitting down. My two front control arms are "rotted" and need replaced 270 a piece plus about 240 for labor is that right does anyone know i really cant afford to drop a G right now?
