Default I'm pretty sure it is the 06A-LX

you are over-paying by about 50%.

There is no core value on the 06A family MAFs at this time... Audi just has us toss em.

Default 06A-906-461-LX msrp = $140 (refurbed), 06A-906-461-L msrp =$316 (new)

go with the refurb, comes with a one year warranty

Only difference is that the refurbed unit comes with a used maf housing(new sensor) while the new one comes with both new parts.

Default NOT AT ALL...

the sensor itself is exactly the same as what's in the VW 2.0(non-turbo) The housing though is different, but don't be fooled by the conspiracy theory. Check the prices on a MAF for an 01 2.0 jetta/golf.
