to do with the transmision, because after a while the shifting gets rough and if ur on 3rd or 4th and let go of the gas completely it hits u hard, samething when u press the gas again more than slitlly.....shifting samething.....u can hear the gears hitting hard too.......but i dont understand why would the fuel gauge stop working as well?......like i said before any ideas or help is apreciated

Could be a ground short. or a shorted wire from the Speedo. I had something similar happen after replacing my clutch. I pulled the engine and may have pinched a couple wires. Though it's not 100% working. There is a chance you can cover the wires in oil while changing the oil filter. I thoroughly pressure washed the engine around the oil filter, ran the car to dry the engine. It's been fine for a couple years now.
FYI - my speedo and fuel gauge would work just fine until the speedo would malfunction, drop or otherwise not be responsive.. the fuel gauge would then increase and decrees with throttle response like a boos gauge.
Try to wash around the oil filter/bell housing area of the engine and trans. could be there is gunk in there.
